An employee in the District Clerk’s Office recently tested positive for COVID-19. The office is temporarily closed while the District Clerk works with the Amarillo Public Health Department to isolate the infection. District Clerk personnel are continuing operations remotely. While this has slowed the performance of routine tasks, all essential operations are being completed. Telephone messages left at the District Clerk’s main number will be returned.
All jury service is cancelled through April 30, 2020.

For those who need to make a payment, you can pay online, pay through the mail, and use the drop box outside of the Justice Center. Be sure to include the cause number and the full name of the person’s case the payment should be credited to. Please do not put cash in the drop box or mail.
On June 24, 2013, in Miscellaneous Docket Number 13-9092, the Supreme Court of Texas issued an Order stating that all counties in Texas would transition into mandatory e-filing by attorneys for all civil, probate and family law cases.
